Clement (Irish) Dombroski, age 82 of Glen Burnie Park, MD formerly of Shamokin, PA passed away on December 21, 2014. Clement served in the army during the Korean War as a member of the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment's (Old Guard) Honor Guard in Fort Myer, VA. He worked at American Oil of Wagner's Point for 18 years, then left there and worked for STA/ILA in Dundalk until he retired in 1996. He was proud of his Polish ethnicity and enjoyed dancing polkas and attending many Polish and polka events. Clement was a member of the Polish Home Club in Baltimore and an officer of The Polka Weekenders of Baltimore. He was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens and enjoyed watching the games and rooting them on.
Mr. Dombroski was preceded in death by his parents Klemens & Ludwiga Dombroski, his brothers; Joseph, Walter, Timmy, Edward, John, and Harry Dombroski, and his sister, Mildred Pochakilo. He is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years Evelyn (Sis, nee Soboleski) Dombroski; his son Michael Dombroski and his wife Tammy of Columbia, MD, his daughter Susan Colonna and her husband Phil of Annapolis, MD and his son David Dombroski of Orlando, FL; his sister-in-law, Sophie Dombroski (nee Skrzesz) wife of Timmy. He is also survived by his cherished grandson Alexander Colonna; step grandsons Chris Colonna, Tim Roland and his wife Jessica, and Kevin Roland; plus two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Leia Roland. Clement will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews.
