Colleen V. Donaldson

Colleen V. Donaldson, 77, of Severn,  passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Morningside House of Friendship. She was born on May 22, 1942, in Severn, to the late Naomi and James Care. Colleen was a dedicated homemaker to her family, and a member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. She was a championship level ballroom dancer, and avid skier. She also enjoyed traveling, and making her own jewelry.

Colleen is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry D. Donaldson; her beloved sons, Greg Donaldson and Michael Donaldson; her cherished grandchildren, Benjamin Donaldson, Megan Donaldson, Brian Donaldson, Jillian Donaldson, and Brooks Donaldson; and her dear brother, Mahlon Care.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1  2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, August 21st , from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 22nd, at 10 AM at Glen Burnie United Methodist Church, 5  2nd Ave SE, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to go St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
