Colonel Pregent

On September 26, 2009, Colonel Donald W. Pregent, a resident of Glen Burnie for 33 years. Beloved husband of Jane K. Pregent and the late Mary Christine Pregent; loving father of Christopher W. Pregent (Kitty) and Charles D. Pregent (Kathy); cherished grandfather of six; dear brother of Catherine M. York and the late Norman P. Pregent. Donald is also survived by two nieces and one nephew. He was born in Keene, New Hampshire to the late William and Delia Pregent. He graduated from Keene High School in 1941. He attended University of New Hampshire, and graduated in 1950 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology; he went on to attend Keene State and received his Graduate Degree in 1956. Donald enlisted in the United States Army in 1943 and retired in 1984. During the 1970's, he achieved rank of Colonel, and received numerous medals. He was an avid golfer and loved to travel.
