Concetta Gavigan

On December 31, 2006, Concetta "Connie" M. Gavigan (nee Marzullo) of Halethorpe passed away at her home. Beloved wife for 47 years to the late Richard H. Gavigan Sr.; Devoted mother of Rosalie M. Dean, Shirley A. See, Richard H. Gavigan Jr., Charles T. Gavigan and Michael D. Gavigan; Loving sister of John Marzullo, Rose Golliday, Theresa Yurche, Joan Studzinski and Mary L. Marzullo; Cherished grandmother of 15, great-grandmother of 17 and great-great-grandmother of one. She was predeceased by four sisters, one brother and one grandchild. Connie was a home maker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She lived in Halethorpe for 35 years and prior to that she resided in Glen Burnie. At one time she was an active member of the Moose Lodge. Connie enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful cook! She also liked going to flea markets and using the computer. Connie loved her Collie dog, 'Angel'. She also enjoyed playing slot machines and watching her daytime soaps on TV. Connie had a special way about her of caring for others before herself. She will be greatly missed.
