Cordelah Agnes Swanson

        Cordelah A. Swanson, 100, passed away on November 8, 2023. Cordelah was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Hopkins. She was born June 3, 1923 in Linthicum, Maryland. She resided at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville for the past 19 years. Cordelah was a lifetime member of the Linthicum Woman’s Club and Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church. She was also a devoted volunteer at the Anne Arundel County Historical Society Cordelah enjoyed playing Bridge, sewing and crafts. She was preceded in death by her late husband, George Swanson. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Nickel and her husband Harry; and her sister, Janet Eastham of Flint Hill, VA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

        Arrangement were handled by Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA in Glen Burnie. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 17^th at 11:00 AM at Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church. A Graveside Service will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, 200 School Lane, Linthicum, MD 21090.
