Cyril Lesko

Cyril Matthew Lesko, 93 of Glen Burnie, MD passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Cy grew up in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He honorably served in the US Air Force for 20 years and was stationed in England, Texas, Illinois and Ft. Meade. He was later employed in the Communication Department with the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, MD. Cyril enjoyed reading, visiting parks, going to special events and NARF meetings. He was an active volunteer member at The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Glen Burnie over the years.

Cyril is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Margaret Jane (Hayes) Lesko; his children, Rhonda G. Tappa and her husband Donald; Andrew G. Lesko and his wife, Teri; and Matthew J. Lesko; his daughter-in-law, Sharon Lesko; his grandchildren, Jeremy Welsh, Aubrey Tappa, Jessica Elms, Joshua Lesko, Daphne Lesko, and Corey Lesko; his great-grandchildren, Austin, Jillian and Madison Welsh and Natalie Elms. He was preceded in death by his son, Keith D. Lesko; his parents, Andrew George and Mary Barna Lesko; his siblings, Charlotte M. Linker, Andrew and Ralph Lesko.

A Funeral Service will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Monday, Dec. 14th at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at MD Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.
