Dale D. Skinner, 86, of Severna Park, passed away on January 24, 2018. Dale was born on July 23, 1931 in Payette, Idaho to the late Dale L. and Leatha M. Skinner. He graduated from Boise High School in 1949, attended Boise Junior College from 1949-1951, then attending the University of Idaho from 1951-1953, where he received a BS in Electrical Engineering. Dale then went to work for Westinghouse and retired after 41 years of service. He enjoyed sailing, reading and tinkering. Dale was also a member of Glen Burnie Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Gail T. Skinner; his son Donald C. Skinner, and his brother, Norman C. Skinner.
Dale is survived by his wife, Colleen Lutz Skinner; his children, Richard D. Skinner and wife, Pam; Robert D. Skinner and wife, Betsy; and Barbara L. Skinner; his daughter-in-law, Bridget Skinner; his sisters-in-law, Janet Keegan and her husband, Bill; and Chrystine Skinner. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Matthew, Laura, Andrew, Rebekah, Allen, Sara, and Jenna; five nieces and three nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Glen Burnie Baptist Church on Friday, Feb. 2nd at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Deer Valley Conservancy, 254 Deer Valley Dr., Ft.
