Daniel Joseph Lawn

Daniel Joseph Lawn, 71, of Glen Burnie, passed away on January 16, 2022.  He was born in Curtis Bay, Maryland, to the late Louise and John Lawn.  Dan started a position at USF&G Insurance Company as a mail clerk, working his way up to legal assistant librarian.  When USF&G went out of business, Dan then worked for Johns Hopkins Health Care as a mail clerk.  He enjoyed watching baseball & football games, old movies, and political news commentary shows.

Dan is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Mary Elizabeth Lawn; his beloved children, Christine Lawn and Timothy Lawn & his fiance, Melissa; his cherished grandson-on-the-way, Reilly Lawn; his dear siblings, Bob Lawn, Gary Lawn, Carol Jackson, Jim Lawn, Susan Deaver, Donna Lewis, Michael Lawn, and Patrick Lawn.  Dan is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S. W. (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, January 23rd, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 24th, at 10:30 AM, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 4708 Prudence Street, Baltimore, MD 21226.  Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel’s memory may be made to your favorite charity.
