Darlene Lorraine Rolland

     Darlene Lorraine Rolland, 65, of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.  She was born in Baltimore, on October 10, 1957, to the late Gloria and Cletus McDonald.   She worked as a pharmacy tech for Rite Aid in Pasadena for many years.   Darlene enjoyed gardening, flowers, and loved playing BINGO, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

     Darlene is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Melvin C. Rolland, Jr.; her loving sons, Melvin Rolland, III and Jack Rolland; her cherished grandchildren, Courtney Rolland, Rylan Rolland, and Ashlyn Rolland; her adored great-granddaughter, Natalie Smith; and her dear sister, Linda Fulwood.

      Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2^nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, October 3^rd, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, October 4^th, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment at Meadowridge Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Darlene’s name are requested to go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
