David Foote

David Lynn Foote, 74, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away on August 22, 2021.  David was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on September 20, 1946, to the late Christine and James W. Foote, Jr.  He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force from 1964-1968, achieving the rank of Sergeant.  David went on to work as a Manager at N.S.A and he was a member of the Lord Calvert Golf Club.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, horse racing, reading, and was an avid sports fan of the Eagles and Phillies.  But most of all, David loved spending time and doting over his grandchildren.

David is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years & eight months, Antionette M. Foote; his beloved son, Jonathan Foote; his dear daughter-in-law, Kim Foote; his cherished grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob, and Matthew; and his loving brother, Marvin Foote.  In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his brother, James Foote III, and grandson, Luke Foote.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1  2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Monday,  August 30th, from 10:30 AM  - 12:30 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at 12:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.   Interment at MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.

In lieu of flowers, the Foote family requests memorial contributions in David’s name be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105   www.stjude.org
