David Hammond

David Charles Hammond, 79, of Essex, passed away on June 8, 2022 at Franklin Square Hospital. He was born in Baltimore to the late Corbin Newton and Ruth Dolores Hammond. He enjoyed reading and studying.

David is survived by his brothers, Richard Newton Hammond and his wife, JoEllen, Kenneth Corbin Hammond Sr. and his wife, Janice; loving niece and nephew, Terry Wagner, Kenneth C. Hammond Jr. and their families.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Monday, June 13th, from 11 AM – 1 PM. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
