David Allan Housand “Worm”, 60, of Centreville, passed away on January 10, 2024. David was born in 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland. He worked as a Warehouseman at O.Berk/Kols Containers for 27 years. David enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Lisa A. Housand; loving daughter, Chelsea Housand; devoted mother, Myrtle E. Koethe (nee Smith); dear siblings, Eddie Housand, Roxanne Koethe and Karen Koethe; brothers-in-law, George Belcher, Vance Belcher and his wife, Charlene; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Courtney Housand; father, Elmer R. Koethe; sister, Grace Koethe; and mother-in-law, Linda Belcher.
The family will receive visitors at the family-owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue SW (at Crain Hwy.) Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, January 16th and Wednesday, January 17th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 18th at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Lung Association, 55 W.
