David H. Montague

David H. Montague, 88, of Glen Burnie, passed away on August 18, 2023. He was born in Baltimore to the late Harry Coleman and Elizabeth Montague. He served his country honorably as a member of the Marine Corps Reserves. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Burggraff Council #6021 and The Good Shepherd Catholic Church, prior to its closing. David found great joy in spending time with his family, gardening, fishing, traveling and volunteering; he was always there to lend a helping hand. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Ryan Collins; and his siblings, Harry, Rose and Robert.

David is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Mary Ellen Montague; loving children, Robert Montague and his wife, Catherine, Colleen Hanyok and her husband, Anthony, Lisa Collins and her husband, Don; cherished grandsons, Jason Lattea, Russell Hanyok, Andrew Hanyok and Nicolas Collins. He will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, lifelong neighbors and friends.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2^nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, August 25^th, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 26^th, at 9:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
