Delores Schuman

On March 6, 2009, Delores S. Schuman of Linthicum. Beloved wife of 62 years to Robert I. Schuman; loving mother of Dr. Mark R. Schuman and his wife Barbara N. Schuman; cherished grandmother of Paul R. and Karl R. Schuman; dear sister of the late Audrey Hickey and William J. Smith, Jr. Delores was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Barbara and William Smith, Sr. She was a graduate of Western High School, class of 1943. She worked for the B&O Railroad from 1943-1946 as secretary, and later at Consolidated Engineering from 1950-1952 as executive secretary. Delores has been a long time member of Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, as well as their women's club, (M.F.W.C.). She also belonged to Andover Pool for 50 years, and the Performing Arts Association of Linthicum, (P.A.A.L.). She greatly enjoyed traveling, cooking, crocheting, and volunteering for many years at the Red Cross Blood Mobile.
