On Saturday, March 29, 2008, Dennis J. Watkins resident of Pasadena and Glen Burnie, owner and operator of Tattoo Charlies est. 1938 on the Block in Baltimore, the 2nd oldest tattoo studio in America and the 1st and oldest studio in Maryland, as well as Gemini Tattoo Boutique Inc. Maryland's 2nd oldest Tattoo Studio in Odenton. Beloved husband of Gale E. Watkins whom he shared 31 years. Fond brother of Gail Hallman. Loving son the the late James and Alice Watkins. Caring nephew of Ed Watkins and Helen Amereihn. Dennis was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge. Dennis loved tattooing, it was a childhood dream. He had a lot of respect for Tattoo Charlie who had a hand in teaching him the business. He enjoyed tattooing American traditional tattoos. His hobbies included drag racing, salt water fishing in the Florida Keys, religion & Bible study at North Arundel Church. His favorite TV shows, church television, history, travel, A&E, and ESPN. He loved talking to people, whatever the subject was, religion, politics, or the world as a whole. He touched many lives. He was who he was a true man. Believe in God no matter what happens in life. May the Lord be with you and bless you, like he has in his life. "Keep the Faith"!
