Dewey Robert White, Sr., 78, of Glen Burnie passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Dewey was born on July 9, 1939 in Arista, West Virginia to the late Dewey and Ina White. He enjoyed playing and collecting guitars.

Dewey was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve V. White and his sister, Betty White Ferguson. He is survived by his three children, Melinda Shipley and her husband, Charles; Dewey White, Jr. and his wife, Brenda; James White and his wife, Lisa; his grandchildren, Amber, Charles, Elizabeth, Anthony, Marlena, Kristen, Alicia, Matthew, Stacey and Sarah; his great-grandchildren, Shana, Sara, Zachary and Cameron.
