On December 12, 2006, Diana Marie Richardson passed on. Diana was dearly loved by her family which includes her late husband, John M. Richardson, whom she wed in 1952; her children, Debra Embrey, Joan Shores, Mark Richardson, Diana Gleysteen, Damian Richardson, the late Ric Richardson and the late Michael Richardson; her brother, the late James Carpellotti; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Diana was born in Old Forge, Pennsylvania in 1927. She was employed as a court reporter for the U.S. Government for 30 years. She was a member of the Sons of Italy in Laurel. She also belonged to the St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Diana enjoyed many hobbies. She loved reading, painting and going to the beach. She loved to watch classic movies and listened to classical music. She loved cooking, ceramics and shopping. She was a regular visitor to the St. Jude's Shrine in Baltimore. Her favorite hobby, however, was spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She was a lovely woman who will be missed by many. She will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery on December 29, 2006 at 10am.
