Dolores Phillips

Dolores Jane Phillips, 80, a 10 year resident of Millersville and previously of Glen Burnie, passed away on April 23, 2012. Dolores was born in 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a member of the Great Dane Club of Maryland and was an active volunteer with various charities. Dolores loved dogs, especially Great Danes, and cats, enjoyed flower gardening, calligraphy, dining out, cooking and baking. She was known as a people person, or "social bee" and a night owl. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Richard J. Phillips; and two sons, Steven Phillips and Jeffrey Phillips. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Seabolt and Susan Phillips; two grandchildren, Kristen and Matthew Seabolt; close friend, Toni Gregory; and brother, Edward Hill. She is also survived by many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211 - OR- Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
