Dolores Shay

January 31, 1931 — August 26, 2013

Dolores O. Shay, 82, a 73 year resident of Ferndale, passed away on August 26, 2013. She was born in Baltimore, MD on January 31, 1931 to the late Patrick and Gladys Ostrosky. She was employed with Westinghouse and retired after 23 years of service. Dolores and several community members started the Ferndale Community Club and she greatly enjoyed crossword puzzles, football, especially the Ravens, genealogy and loved spending time with her two dogs, TruDee and Candie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Paul Shay, Sr.; son, Bernard Paul Shay, Jr.; and two brothers, Patrick F. Ostrosky and Marion W. Ostrosky. She is survived by her daughter, Erin C. Harrison and husband Tommy and one sister, Sharon Ann Ostrosky. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
