Donald Emanuele D'Antonio, 86, of Glen Burnie, passed away at his residence on May 20, 2018.
Donald was born in Baltimore to the late Joseph and Mildred Elizabeth(Wirth) D'Antonio. At age 17 Donald enlisted into the United States Air Force he faithfully and honorably served his country until his retirement in 1992. On January 7, 1962 he married Margaret Elizabeth Delss. Together he and Margaret had three sons that Donald raised and instilled values and character into. Donald was a member of the Air Force Association, Life time member of the N.C.O, former member of the American Legion Post # 277. He was also a part of an Air Force Retiree group that got together monthly. He enjoyed spending time relaxing, watching TV, and shooting pool. He also traveled extensively throughout the country all by car! Donald was a loving, caring, and dedicated man his family will cherish many special memories they have made together over the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Jackie.
He is survived by his sons, Donald Joseph D'Antonio, Ronald George D'Antonio and his wife Carmel, David Emanuele D'Antonio; his granddaughter, Sara; Brother, Richard D'Antonio and his wife Irene; and other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday May 24, 2018 from 11-1 pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville contributions may be made to D.A.V.(Disabled American Veterans) in his name.
