Donald Marsch

May 3, 1924 — December 24, 2017

On, December 24, 2017, Donald Bond Marsch, 93, of Westminster, passed away at his home. Donald was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Augusta and James Marsch. He served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Donald worked as a carpenter and belonged to Union Local 101 for 65 years. He enjoyed writing and drawing, and loved traveling, as well as, architecture and building.
Donald was predeceased by his devoted wife of 67 years, Bonnie L. Marsch, and his dear siblings, James Marsch, Doris Williams, Erma Gambrill, Kenneth Marsch, and Joan Marsch. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Patricia L. Marsch and her partner Sherry Spangler, and Joan L. Kratz and her husband Frank "Skip" Kratz IV; his cherished granddaughter, Patricia A. Rogers; and his loving brother, Jack B. Marsch and his wife Dianne.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, January 3rd, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 4th, at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
