Donald Patterson

Donald Glenn Patterson, 83, of Lewes, DE, died peacefully August 10 surrounded by family. Born on January 16, 1930 in Paducah, KY, he attended William and Mary College, enlisted in the USMC and graduated from Eastern College in Baltimore. Mr. Patterson retired after a long career with the Comptroller's Office of MD. He also worked for the Maxima Corp. after retiring from the State of MD. Mr. Patterson was predeceased by his parents, Aubrey and Kathryn Patterson, and his sons, Donald G. Patterson II and Timothy Sean Patterson. Mr. Patterson was involved in his church and committed to his faith. Donald also enjoyed fishing, boating and sports. He particularly enjoyed attending the sporting events where his many grandchildren were participating. He is survived by his wife Nathalia; sons, Steven Patterson of Arnold and Mark Patterson of Owings; daughters, Debra Kay Scaggs of Owings, and Kelly McAllister of Richmond, VA; and many grand and great-grandchildren.
