Donald Russell

On July 30, 2007, Donald R. Russell passed away at home at the age of 95. Born in Taylorsville, North Carolina, he was a resident of Glen Burnie for 50 years. Loving husband of 67 years to the late Alma Mae Russell; Beloved father of Shirley M. Snyder, Barbara A. Dallas and Glenda G. Russell; Caring brother of Keith Russell, Mildred Dagenhart, Betty Wyck and the late Wayne Russell, Pauline Sinclair and Gladys Brown; Cherished grandfather of five and great-grandfather of nine. He was predeceased by one grandchild. Donald worked as a driver for the Maryland Transit Authority for many years before retiring in 1962. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and enjoyed being actively involved with his church. Donald was an avid golfer, liked to travel and enjoyed gospel music. He will be dearly missed.
