Donald Smallwood Sr

Donald R. Smallwood, Sr., 65, of Glen Burnie passed away on August 31, 2016. Don was born on September 1, 1950 in Baltimore to the late Wilson and Mildred Smallwood. He retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service and worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He had a passion for sports and especially loved the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles and even coached ball when he was younger. He loved to barbecue, dance, sing and have a good time.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, Harriet Smallwood; his son, Shawn D. Smallwood; and his brother, Howard L. Smallwood, Sr.

Don is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanne M. Smallwood; his son, Donald R. Smallwood, Jr. (Misty McGuire); his brothers, Wilson J. Smallwood, Jr. (Lucretia "Kathy" Smallwood) and Gary D. Smallwood; his grandchildren, Damion and Angel Smallwood; and his step grandchildren, Ronny Lowman (Megan Lowman).
