Donald Strand

Donald A. Strand, 74, of Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully on May 9, 2011 at his home. Donald was born in Coleraine, Minnesota in 1936 to the late Arthur and Ethel Strand. Don served time in the US Navy and continued his service to his country by working for the National Security Agency for 37 years, retiring in 1994. He was a loving and caring family man. As well as spending time with his family, Don enjoyed listening to music, working on crossword puzzles, watching movies and college football. Don is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Cornelia (nee Letendre); son, Jeffrey Strand of Glen Burnie; daughter, Monica and husband Raymond Bichard of Dillsburg, PA. He is also survived by 3 beautiful grandchildren, Megan, Nathan and Emily Bichard of Dillsburg, PA who loved their PaPa so very much. A memorial service will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services in Glen Burnie at a later date.
