Donna Meadows

Donna Jean Meadows, 61, of Severn, passed away on May 6, 2016, at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born in Baltimore, on February 28, 1955, to the late Phyllis and Henry Johansen. Donna earned her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UMUC, and went on to work for 41 years as a computer programmer at the M.V.A. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, boating, crabbing, fishing, baking, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Gilbert Meadows; her loving daughters, Michele Norton and her husband Jason, and Gina Watson and her husband Greg; her beloved grandchildren, Brehanna Norton, Elijah Norton, and Jacob Watson; and her dear siblings, Darlene Perrigoy, Janet Williams, Albert Johansen, and Trudy Twigg. Donna was predeceased by her sister, Denise Brown.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 14th, at 3 PM, at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie. Family and friends may gather an hour prior to the service from 2-3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna's name may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
