Donna Rooker

May 11, 1961 — April 16, 2015

Donna Marie Herb Rooker, age 53, died suddenly at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center at 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 16th after a courageous fight with a spinal cord injury. Donna was born May 11, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland and a graduate of Southern High School. She worked for the L-3 Corporation as a Web Developer and Graphic Artist. She lived in Millersville, Maryland. Donna loved to crochet and do crafts. She was a big Orioles baseball fan and loved to travel. She organized and worked on many charity fundraising projects. She had a big heart and a smile that shined like the sun. She was honest, thoughtful, caring, and she told it like it was. Her attention to detail and the way she strived to make those around her know they were loved and thought of made her a lady like no other. We will all miss you Donna. You were taken from us too soon. You touched our lives and made this world a better place. She is survived by her loving husband George; mother, Patricia Herb; sister, Mary Ann Herb Vanmeter; uncles, Charlie Herb, George Herb, Ronald Herb, and Robert Herb; numerous cousins and her faithful friend and companion Maya.
