Dora Cooper

August 12, 1945 — April 16, 2012

On April 16, 2012 Dora M. Cooper, 66, of Glen Burnie, died at Fairfield Nursing Center. She was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on August 8, 1945 to the late Scott and Eva M. Johns. Dora was a past member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge and an active member with Severn Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting Hummels, crafts, dancing and traveling. She will be remembered as the life of the party. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George; and four siblings, Berk Johns, Scott Johns, Jr., Lillian Devan and Virginia Mays. Dora is survived by her eight siblings, Frank Johns, Sr., Jimmy Johns, Mac Johns, David Johns, Estelle Hicks, Ella Lerp, Eva A. Johns and Violet Schultheis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Annapolis Outreach Center, 92 West Washington Street; Annapolis, MD 21401.
