Dorice Milligan

On September 22, 2017, Dorice Arnita Milligan, 99, of Columbia, Maryland, passed away at Ellicott City Health & Rehabilitation Center. Dorice was born on October 9, 1917, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Thelma and Stetson Wilson. She attended Coppin State University and went on to become Assistant Manager of the Children's Department at Hochschild Kohn. Dorice enjoyed crocheting, reading, and cooking. She loved being with her family most of all.
Dorice was predeceased by her devoted husband, Charles H. Milligan, her brother, Taylor D. Milligan, a great-grandson, Jeremiah, and a great-great-grandson, Jeremiah. She is survived by her beloved son, Charles D. Milligan and his wife, Gloria; her loving grandchildren, Teresa A. Potts, Michael D. Milligan, and Charles Terry Milligan; her cherished great-grandchildren, Delilah, Violet, Jessica, Jeanel, Chanel, Earl, Russell, Melissa, Eric, and Sarah; and her dear great-great-grandchildren, Taki, Jaedyn, Sincera, J'nah, Kaleb, Elizah, Mason, and Keelan.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, September 27th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 28th, at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Brooklyn Park.
