Doris Lee Breese

September 7, 1933 — February 18, 2019

Doris Lee Breese, 85, of Linthicum, Maryland, passed away on February 18, 2019.  Doris was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Elisabeth and William Wharry.  She worked for many years at International Paper Company as a clerical worker and she enjoyed gardening, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Doris is survived by her cherished daughter, Gail E. Danko, and her beloved son-in-law, Chuck Danko; and her loving siblings, George Wharry and Margaret Liberatore.  In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her dear siblings, Elisabeth Natur, Henry Wharry, Carlos Wharry, and William Wharry.

The family will receive visitors at the family-owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S.W. (at Crain Hwy), Glen Burnie, on Thursday, February 21, from 11-1 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Violetville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doris’ name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
