Doris L. Dorman, 88, of Red Lion, PA and formerly of Glen Burnie, passed away on December 10, 2016. Doris was born on August 15, 1928 in Williamsport, PA to the late James and Mary Campbell. A devoted wife and mother, Doris volunteered in many community and military organizations throughout her life. She was an active member of St. Bernadette Church.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Dorman; one sister and one brother.
She is survived by her children, Gail Sullivan and her husband, Jonathan; Eileen Arnold and her husband, David; and Amy Cannon and her husband, Michael; her grandchildren, Gene Mitchell, Stephanie Gonzalez, Laura Lisan, Benjamin Cannon, Brendan Cannon and Molly Cannon; her great-grandchildren, Jeremy Gonzalez, Dominick Gonzalez, Emma Mitchell and Lily Mitchell.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday from 3:30 - 6:30 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernadette Church on Friday at 2 PM.
A private interment at MD Veterans Cemetery will precede the funeral mass the morning of December 16th.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
