Doris Ford-Newbill

On January 14, 2007, Doris Marie Ford-Newbill passed on. Doris was dearly loved by her family which includes her husband of 23 years, the late Clifton H. Newbill, Sr.; her dear children, Doris Puderbaugh, James Newbill, Clifton Newbill, Jr. and Linda Metzler; her brothers, Marvin Wheeler, Roland Wheeler, Lawrence Wheeler, and the late Wilmur, Edgar, Jr. and Earl Wheeler; her sisters, Virginia Fritz, Betty Swann and Gloria Griebel; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and her late parents, Mattie Hamnod Wheeler and Edgar Wheeler, Sr. Doris was a native of Glen Burnie, Maryland. She was born there in 1924. She worked in the Telephone Company Sales retail business for 20 years. She was a member of the Loyal Women of the Moose Club. Doris had many hobbies which included gardening roses and other plants, playing bingo, playing cards, horse races and baking. She also enjoyed going to casinos. Doris was a woman who loved life and she will be missed by many people. Mrs. Newbill will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery on February 6 at 3:00pm.
