On April 29, 2010; beloved wife of the late Buford Arlin Franklin; devoted mother of Alfreda Archer; loving grandmother of Alicia Smollon and her husband Michael; preceded in death by her parents Noah Bennett and Lydia Pearl Bennett, and her step-brother Robert Bennett.
Doris worked as an analyst for the Dept. of Defense at NSA. She enjoyed ceramics, baking, cake decorating, knitting, and crocheting.
