Doris Johnson

On February 21, 2010 Doris Lucille Johnson (nee Tuckey), 72, a 48 year resident of Glen Burnie died of natural causes at the Baltimore-Washington Medical Center. She was born April 16, 1937 in Baltimore to the late George and Almira Tuckey also lifelong residents of the city. She was a graduate of Eastern High School, class of 1956 and worked several years for the C&P Phone Company. She enjoyed watching the Orioles, Ravens and soap operas on TV. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and playing the slot machines in Atlantic City. She was preceded in death by her two brothers George Tuckey of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and Earl Tuckey of Baltimore. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lewis W. Johnson; a son, Wayne Lee Johnson of Glen Burnie, and a sister Eleanor Tuckey Cookerly and her husband Bill also of Glen Burnie.
