Doris G. Toepfer

Doris G. Toepfer, 89, of Glen Burnie, passed away at her home on May 14, 2024. She was born in Virginia to the late David and Ruby Helmick. During the 60’s and 70’s, her and her late husband were champion bowlers, winning the most as a team. She also enjoyed crafting and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry G. Toepfer.

Doris is survived by her loving nephews and niece, Scott Sakowsi, Glen Sakowski, Wayne Sakowski, Allan Sakowski, Donna DuPuis, Danny Sakowski, David Sakowski, and their families. 

 Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2^nd Avenue, SW ,(at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, on Weds., May 29^th, from 4 – 7 PM. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
