Dorothy Kerns

On December 24, 2006, Dorothy Jane Kerns passed on. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Kenneth K. Kerns; her children, Teresa Jane Godfrey, Douglas Keith Kerns and Julie Lynn Moody; her sisters, Joyce E. Ginevan, Alice F. Schaefer and Gloria Ann Hayden; her brother, Ronald Shrout; three grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Shrout, and her sister, June Shrout. Dorothy was a native of Spring Gout, West Virginia. She had resided in Glen Burnie, Maryland for over 42 years. She was a devoted member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. She greatly enjoyed reading the Bible and loved Jesus dearly. Dorothy enjoyed many hobbies. She loved fishing, camping, travelling, playing board games, and going out to eat. She especially loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandson. Dorothy will be missed by many people.
