Dorothy Stumpf

On November 27, 2016, Dorothy Marie Stumpf, 89, passed away at her home in Goldsboro, MD. Dorothy was born on February 21, 1927, in Baltimore, to the late Bertha and Stanley Kaminski. She was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Post 296 in Grasonville. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling, playing the slots, crossword puzzles, shopping, and eating out.
Dorothy was predeceased by devoted husband of 60 years, John "Hank" Stumpf and her son Russell Stumpf. She is survived by her beloved children, Dolores (Robert) Strausser, Patricia Broseker, Joanne (Al) Gunther, and Paul (Kate) Stumpf; her loving grandchildren, Timothy Phelps, Cindy Malkin, Melissa Harrison, Allen Gunther III, Russell Stumpf Jr., and Matthew Stumpf; her four cherished great-grandchildren; and her dear sister, Jean Lesniewski.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, November 29th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on, Wednesday, November 30th, at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dorothy's name may be made to the charity of your choice.
