Dr. Ana Martinez, a respected physician and internist, passed away on December 15, 2024, in Elkridge, Maryland. Born on August 31, 1956, in Cuba, Dr. Martinez dedicated over 30 years to her medical career, providing compassionate care and making a profound impact on the lives of her patients and their families.

Dr. Martinez obtained her medical degree from Universidad de Guadalajara, where she laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to medicine. Her journey as a physician was marked by a deep sense of duty and a passion for helping others, traits that endeared her to many in her community.

She is survived by her beloved family, including her two brothers, Fernando Martinez and his wife, Diane; and Ben Martinez; her nephew, Alex Martinez, and his wife, Julie; her niece, Charlotte Martinez; as well as her great-niece, Gabriella Martinez, and great-nephew, William Martinez. 

Dr. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Ana Maria Martinez, who instilled in her the values of hard work and perseverance. Their influence shaped her character and guided her through her life's endeavors.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 1 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, Maryland. 

As we reflect on her contributions and the love she shared, Dr. Ana Martinez will be remembered not only as a dedicated physician but also as a cherished family member and friend.
