Dr. David C. Berry, 93 of Palm Harbor, FL. passed away on September 27, 2011. Through his tireless work, kind and generous spirit, and very active life 93 years including; a decorated veteran of WWII, retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel, MBA, PHD, published author, Director of Education for US Army in Europe, an ordained Deacon, published poet, a proud member of the Military Order of World Wars; the Masonic Order; and the Slumbering Groundhog Lodge of Quarryville, PA; Dr. Berry departed this world a better place than he entered it. He was born the 8th of 9 children to Dr. Andrew and Hattie Berry of Lamar, Oklahoma in 1918, He is survived by his loving and romantic wife of 8 years, Madolyn; 2 children, David Wesley Berry and Geraldine Lynn Enger; 5 step-children; 13 grandchildren, including his lil one", Jacqui and 8 great grandchildren. Dr. Berry will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife of 35 years, Eugenia Berry with full military honors on Saturday, October 1st at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD.
