December 31, 1958 – May 3, 2023

Dr. James (Jimmy) Carr, age 64, died on Wednesday May 3, 2023, at their home in Glen Burnie, Maryland with his wife, beside him. Dr. Carr was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and until his death, worked as an Internal Medicine Physician at the Baltimore Medical System, Belair-Edison location.

He attended the University of Ghana Medical School and completed his residency at the St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport, Connecticut in the United States. Prior to this, Dr. Carr had many years of experience practicing as a physician in New York (USA), Banjul (Gambia), and London (United Kingdom).
