Dwight Sheesley, Jr

On October 16, 2009, Dwight Leroy "Lee" Sheesley, Jr., of Savannah, Georgia, passed on after a sudden illness. Cherished son of Janice and Dwight Sheesley, Sr.; loving brother of Beverly Ford and husband George, Cindy Hash and husband Rusty, Kevin Sheesley and wife Jane; long-time companion of Bert Simmons; devoted uncle of Diana, Geoff, Nick, Greg, Andrea, Phillip, Trevor, Jamie, Danny, Holly, Katie, and K.J.; caring great uncle of Alyssa and Kylie. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn Wolf. Dwight graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1980. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he received his Master's and Bachelor's Degree. He was currently employed with Savannah Technical College, and has been with them for six years. He was a past member of Marley United Methodist Church. Some of Dwight's interests and hobbies include: Lucille Ball, his dogs, Lucy, Shelby, and Gracie, spending time with his family, traveling, and music, especially Sandi Patty.
