E. Petry

E. Charlene Petry, 84, of Catonsville, passed away on January 2, 2017. She was born on June 18, 1932 in Nashville, TN to the late Charles and Elsie Solley. Charlene was a substitute teacher for Anne Arundel County, a clerk at the MVA and a bank teller for Bank of America. She belonged to the Red Hat Society. Charlene enjoyed BINGO and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip "Pete" Petry; and her brother, Kenneth Solley. She is survived by her children, Patti Petry (Alan Bollinger), Michael Petry (Susan), and Philip Luther Petry (Judith); her sister, Margaret McDonald (Wayne); her grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth and Matthew Bollinger; her nieces, Peggie Solley and Pam Abbott (Ray).

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.

Contributions in Charlene's name may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
