Edmund Russell, Sr.

Edmund Clark Russell, Sr., 83, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.  Edmund was born in Baltimore and he worked as a baker at Koester’s Bakery and then for A&P Grocery Stores.  He enjoyed bowling and watching the Ravens and Orioles.

Edmund was predeceased by his devoted wife of 44 years, Margaret B. Russell and his dear sons, Ed Russel, Jr. and Errol Russell.  He is survived by his beloved children, Sheila (Tom) Casper, Ken Raeke, Eric Russell, Christine (Wayne) Hoyle, Kevin Raeke, Lance Russell; his 19 cherished grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S.W. (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, January 9th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Edmunds’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
