On March 22, 2006 Edward S. Bogdan of Linthicum passed away. Devoted husband of Karen Bogdan (nee Shuley) for 38 years; Loving father of Stephen Bogdan; Cherished friend and half-brother of Edward Miller, Caring uncles of one niece and one nephew. He is predeceased by his mother, Helen Lesniewski and two brothers, Andrew and Robert Bogdan.
Ed has lived in Linthicum since 1967. He graduated from Baltimore City College in 1965 and also earned a B.S. in Business from the University of Baltimore. He worked for the federal government for 30 years as a systems analyst. Ed coached football for the Rebels in the 1970's. He was also very instrumental in establishing L.F.Y.A.A. and building the fieldhouse. Ed was an umpire with Anne Arundel County Department of Parks and Recreation. He and his wife, Karen, lived in Fort Worth, Texas for 5 years. While there, they volunteered to care for emotionally abused children. Ed enjoyed technology, sports, animals and fine dining. He also appreciated a good joke!
