Edward Irvin Forsht, Sr., 81, of Glen Burnie, passed away at his home on January 30, 2022. Ed was born on August 6, 1940 in Takoma Park, Maryland to the late Robert and Evelyn Forsht. He worked for Eastern Airlines and later retired as a 911 operator with Anne Arundel County, before working part time at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services. He also loved spending time with his family.
Along with his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ollie M. Forsht; and his siblings, Joann Behegan, Robert Forsht and Diane Sapp. He is survived by his three children, Sherrie Hare (David), Edward Forsht, Jr. and Heidi Nevin (Thomas III); his grandchildren, Brandon Hare, Matthew Nevin and Rachel Nevin; and his sister, Judy Earnest (Tim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, February 3rd from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 4th at 9:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park to follow.
