Edward P. Petraska, 83, passed away after a brief illness on December 8, 2011. He was born in Baltimore, MD on June 12, 1928. He attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and Johns Hopkins University, where he received his Bachelor's in Engineering. Edward enjoyed photography and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his four children, Karen Eva Petraska and husband A. Glenn Maynard, Peter Paul, II, and wife Patricia, Stephen Paul and wife Jennifer, and David Paul and wife Melissa; and seven grandchildren, Emily, Carly, Ethan, Alex, Cole, Sarah and Michael. He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Eva, and one brother, Thomas V. Petraska. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, PO Box 27106; New York, NY 10087.
