Edward Earl Taylor, Jr., 80, of Odenton, Maryland, formerly of Severn, passed away on September 29, 2021 in his home. Edward was born in Gambrills, on July 14, 1941, to the late Viola and Edward Taylor. He worked for many years at N.S.A. in customer service, retiring in 1996, and he was a member of the ELKS Lodge. Edward enjoyed camping, woodworking, working on cars, and he was an overall “Jack-of-all-trades.”
In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased by his devoted wife, Margaret M. Taylor. He is survived by his loving children, Edward Taylor III, Karen Turner, Mark Taylor, Jennifer Weston, and Richard Floyd Jr.; his seven cherished grandchildren; and his dear brother, Robert Taylor.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Sunday, October 3rd, from 3-6 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 4th, at 1:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Edward’s name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake at www.hospicechesapeake.org
