On January 4, 2016, Eleanor "Ellie" Gardner passed away at her residence in Glen Burnie. Mrs. Gardner was born on June 1, 1926 to Anthony and Albina Belak in Manhattan, N.Y. She was a member of the Glen Burnie Ki-wives and St. Bernadette's Women's Group. Ellie was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert R. Gardner, Sr. and her two sisters, Emily Widmer and Helen Gott. Ellie is survived by her daughter, Carol Mondich and her husband Samuel, her son, Robert R. Gardner, Jr., and her two grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas Mondich.
The family has requested that the services be kept private.
