Eleanor Wimbish

Eleanor P. Wimbish was born on March 26, 1927 in Colora, MD, the 8th of 12 children, and died on Monday, April 6, 2020 at her loving and caring home in Selbyville, DE. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Pearl Reed; her husband, Russell Wimbish, Jr.; her 2 sons, William Stocks and Barry Wimbish; her 2 grandsons, Bryan Ross and William Ross; and 11 siblings. She is survived by her 3 daughters and their spouses, Donna Trageser (Pete), Marianne Rodenhizer (Robert), and Melinda Bischoff (John); son, Russell Wimbish III; grandchildren, Tricia Robeson, Charles Trageser, William Trageser, Melissa Chandler, Lisa Sylvia, Dale Rodenhizer, John Bischoff Jr., Jenny Rodenhizer, Robert Bischoff, Danielle Lituski, Melissa Bischoff  and Joseph Bischoff; 26 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a kind, caring individual with a huge heart. She made everyone that she was speaking to feel they were the most special person in the world. She loved her family and her dogs and cats. She loved to read and was a published writer, a gold star mother and an advocate for Vietnam Veterans. She also enjoyed eating candy and watching game shows. She will be truly missed.
