Elizabeth Murphy)

On December 7, 2009, Elizabeth M. Snyder-Bowers (nee Murphy), a resident of Millersville for 10 years, passed away at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was born in Maryland to the late Charles S. and Elfrieda M. Murphy. Elizabeth was employed with ACME as a cake decorator for 30 years. Spending time with her family was very important to her; she also enjoyed playing cards, and traveling. She was a member of the Bakers Confectionary Union #68. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Heyward "Steve" Bowers, and her first husband, Clyde A. Snyder, Sr. She is survived by her six children, Elaine E. Claar, Alfred C. Snyder, Clyde A. Snyder, Jr., Earl E. Snyder, William L. Snyder, Sr., and Eileen "Dolly" Sewell; one brother, Marion F. Murphy; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
